The Grant Instruments AQL5 clear polycarbonate gabled lid can be used with Grant Instruments 5 liter unstirred water baths (JBA5 US, JBN5 US, SAP5 US, SBB Aqua 5 Plus US and SAPD US) and SAP2S US 2 liter unstirred water bath, all sold separately. An AQL5 lid is supplied as standard with new JBN5 US, SAP5 US, SAPD US and SBB Aqua 5 Plus US, SAP2S US water baths, but can be purchased here separately as a replacement or to be used with a JBA5 US water bath.
When used with a water bath the non-drop, clear lid reduces evaporation and helps conserve energy. The gabled shape directs condensation away from immersed vessels to help avoid sample contamination. Use of a lid is recommended when using a water bath at temperatures above 60°C. Product dimensions are: 11 x 31.5 x 16.0 cm (H x W x D).
