Synthetic damping grease is a premium, high-viscosity lubricant designed to provide smooth, controlled motion and quiet operation in a variety of mechanical assemblies. Formulated with advanced synthetic base oils and thickeners, it offers excellent stability over a wide temperature range, extremely low volatility, and long-lasting performance. It is ideal for damping the motion of threads, sliders, gears, and rotating components in electronics, automotive, aerospace, and precision instruments.
Instructions:
1. Ensure the greased surface is clean, dry, and free of oil, dirt, and old grease. Clean with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
2. Application: Using a cotton swab, small brush, or needle dispenser, apply a small amount of damping grease thinly and evenly to the surface of the component requiring increased resistance (e.g., threads, shafts, gear teeth).
3. Assembly: Assemble the components and perform repeated movements (e.g., rotating and sliding) to ensure even distribution of the damping grease.
4. Testing and Adjustment: Test the resistance. If resistance is excessive, wipe off some grease; if resistance is insufficient, add more as needed. Applying small amounts and frequently is key.
Precautions
1. For industrial/machinery use only. Not for use in food processing equipment.
2. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Wear gloves when handling. If contaminated, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
3. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Close the bottle tightly after use.
4. Before use, be sure to perform a compatibility test on an inconspicuous area to ensure no adverse effects on specific plastics or rubber materials.
