وصف

In 1929, Marini began his artistic journey at the Scuola d'Arte in Monza, mentored by Arturo Martini, who he later succeeded as a professor. In 1940, he joined the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where he taught until his career's end. Over time, his sculptures, particularly his horsemen, grew more intense and symbolic of modern man's struggles. His talent gained global recognition through exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Venice Biennale, and the Kunsthaus Zurich. He received prestigious awards like the Grand Prix for sculpture at the Venice Biennale and the Feltrinelli Prize. Today, his work resides in prominent international collections and museums dedicated to him, such as the Museo Marino Marini in Florence and the Pistoia Museum. Marino Marini passed away in 1980 in Viareggio, leaving behind a substantial and enduring body of work that continues to inspire contemporary sculpture.
