Alkaline cellulase(REVITALENZ 2000) is a component of cellulose holoenzyme Carboxymethyl cellulase, a glucan endonuclease, does not contain the other two components of the cellulase holoenzyme: glucan exonuclease and β-glucoglycine. In the process of the action of alkaline cellulase on natural cellulose, there is no synergistic effect between enzyme components. It mainly acts on cellulose molecules in the amorphous region, which accounts for about 10% of cotton fibers, and has low hydrolytic activity on cellulose in the crystalline region. Therefore, it does not significantly reduce the firmness of cotton fibers.
The optimum temperature of cellulase is 40-60℃, which can give full play to its washing effect.
