Service Life: Normally 4–5 years.
If the product has been used beyond this period or very frequently, perform a preliminary inspection:
-Lay the product flat, remove the fabric cover if possible, and visually inspect.
-If one-third or more of the surface shows cracks, discontinue use and replace immediately.
-Where available, use a professional dosimeter to measure radiation attenuation and determine whether replacement is necessary.
