Recommended insertion depth: The needle tip should occupy approximately one-third of the total length.

Caution:
Keep in a secure location or within sight at all times. Exercise due care.
When inserting into specimens or specimen boxes, avoid excessive force. Should bending occur under pressure, gently bend the needle back in the opposite direction by hand to realign it. Minor bending does not affect specimen fixation or display. If the needle tip bends, it may be lightly filed with a nail file or fine sandpaper until smooth to the touch.
