Our Copper Rings Are Made from Pure Copper — Not Brass, Alloy, or Stainless Steel
Copper is a naturally reddish metal that may darken or develop a light patina over time due to exposure to moisture and air. This change in color is completely normal and is one of the clearest signs that your rings are made from real, uncoated copper.
To maintain their original shine, we recommend removing your rings before washing hands, showering, swimming, or heavy sweating. Water, sweat, and salt can accelerate oxidation, but the color change is natural and harmless.
If oxidation or skin discoloration occurs, it simply means the copper is reacting normally. A quick cleaning with lemon juice and salt, or a copper-safe polish, will restore the shine.
Tip: Our copper rings are lightly coated. The most reliable way to confirm purity is to file or cut a tiny inside area—if the metal color remains the same throughout, it's real copper.
