Description Of This 48RE Transmission Cooler Hose Line: This 48RE transmission cooler hose line kit is a replacement for Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Cummins 5.L with 48RE transmission 2003/2004/2005/2006/2007. This pipe fitting is made of stainless steel & PTFE, and is a heavy-duty flexible hose for the SS braided transmission cooler. This 48RE transmission hose kit includes three hoses, namely from the transmission to the heat exchanger, from the heat exchanger to the original factory cooler, and from the cooler back to the transmission; it comes with 4 transmission adapters/fittings. The original copper connector on the transmission must be removed before installation. Use 2 pipe fittings to connect to the original rubber pipe in front of the cooler. Original heat exchanger fittings will be required.
