This professional car body filler is designed for body repair and surface treatment. Recommendations for use:
1. Surface Preparation Make sure the metal surface to be repaired is thoroughly clean and free of oil, moisture and old paint.
2. Mixing ratio: mix putty and hardener in the exact weight ratio of 100:2. For best results, always use the included hardener.
3. Stirring: mix hardener and putty thoroughly and evenly until the colours are completely uniform and streak-free.
4. Peel: Apply the mixed putty to the repair site with light pressure to ensure close contact with the substrate. It is recommended to apply the putty slightly above the surrounding intact surface to facilitate sanding.
5. Curing time: at room temperature (approx. 25 °C) can usually start grinding after 30-35 minutes (the exact time varies according to temperature, humidity and layer thickness, please adjust accordingly).
6. Sanding: Once the putty is fully cured (hard to the touch), sand it with coarse sandpaper (first with fine sandpaper) until the surface is smooth and level and adapts perfectly to the body contours.
Precautions:
1. Work in a well-ventilated environment to avoid inhaling dust. Wearing a protective mask, gloves and goggles is recommended.
2. Too high a hardener content leads to a rapid reaction and brittle cracking; too low a proportion leads to incomplete or incomplete curing. Please strictly adhere to the recommended ratio.
3. This product is not suitable for plastics, galvanic coatings, galvanized coatings or untreated, rusted surfaces as this can lead to poor adhesion and peeling.
