Game Rules
1. 【Kick Off】
The starting position after the kickoff is determined by rolling the dice:
Roll 12 → Touchdown
Roll 3-11 → Start the attack from the 20-yard line
Roll 2 → Start the attack from the 50-yard line
2. 【Attack and Advancement】
Position Marking: Mark the current position of the ball on the field squares with red/yellow balls.
Tactical Decision: Roll two dice at the start of each attack and execute the corresponding result according to the "Tactics Table" below the board:
Example:
Roll "⚀⚀" → Touchdown Pass
Roll "⚀⚁" → Interception (Position changes, opponent gains 10 yards)
Other results correspond to "yard gain/loss," "tactical change," etc. (e.g., Reverse Play gains 20 yards, QB Sack loses 5 yards).
Downs: Record the number of downs (4 downs) in the "Downs" area using the black piece. If the ball is not advanced 10 yards within 4 downs, possession changes hands.
3. 【Scoring Rules】
Touchdown: +6 points
Extra Point: After a touchdown, choose one of the following:
Roll 1 die → 1 point (successful shot)
Roll 2 dice → 2 points (transfers the touchdown, must be chosen beforehand)
Field Goal: Score points based on the distance corresponding to the dice roll (20 yards + 3 points, 30 yards + 3 points, 40 yards + 3 points)
Safety: +2 points
4. 【Special Actions】
Punt: If the attack fails on 4 downs, roll 1 die x 10 yards to give possession to the opposing team.
Position Change: Interception, fumble, and other similar incidents will directly change possession.
5. 【Number of Rounds and End of Game】
Scoring Method: Use blue/green beads to mark the current total score on the squares in the "Home/Away Score" area.
Possession: Indicates which team currently has possession of the ball.
Downs: Record the number of downs (4 downs) using black pieces in the "Downs" area.
Quarters: Record the number of quarters (4 quarters) using black pieces in the "Quarter" area.
Game End: After 4 quarters, the team with the higher total score in the Home/Away Score area wins.
