Cyanotype Kit
Cyanotype kit are a photographic technique that transforms sunlight into stunning, timeless works of art. No darkroom or complicated equipment is needed. Use your imagination and the power of sunlight to capture the delicate silhouettes of ferns, the fine veins of leaves, or the nostalgic outlines, and watch them transform into beautiful, lasting vintage blue images.

cyanotype solution B (250ml) x 1
7cm sponge brush x 1
droppers (2ml) x 4
9 sheets of perforated paper x 1
stainless steel clips x 8
A4 transparent file sleeve x 1
A5 transparent file sleeve x 1

Instructions:
1. Using a dropper, mix cyanotype liquid A & B in a clean container at a 1:1 ratio.
2. Dip a sponge brush into the mixed cyanotype liquid and apply it evenly to the surface of the paper.
3. Place the paper in a shaded area away from direct sunlight to air dry for 30-60 minutes.
4. Place the air-dried paper into the plastic clip, and place the object on the surface of the paper according to your own idea. Then use clips to secure the plastic clip around its edges.
5. Expose the paper to direct sunlight for approximately 3-10 minutes, observing the color change from pale yellow to a darker shade.
6. Rinse the paper with running water until the water runs clear.
7. Place it in a cool, well-ventilated place to dry, and the final product is complete.
Note:
1. Mix the cyanotype solution A & B in a 1:1 ratio before use.
2. Strong sunlight (UV lamp is also acceptable) is required during the drying process; otherwise, the colors will not be vibrant.
3. Adjust the drying time according to the light intensity.
4. After use, store in the provided black bag away from light.
5. It is recommended to use highly absorbent materials, such as watercolor paper or fabric.
