This Parco Scientific RCM-608-L compound microscope features a Siedentopf 30° inclined binocular head designed to reduce eye and neck strain. It is equipped with a 48mm–75mm interpupillary adjustment, and a diopter adjustment on one ocular tube to compensate for eye-strength difference when needed. It features a reverse nosepiece to facilitate easy slide changes. Brightfield LED illumination illuminates the specimen from below, making the specimen appear bright, but much darker than the bright background. This allows the darker specimen to be contrasted by the surrounding bright viewing field.
