Each rod is CNC-machined from domestically sourced aluminum billet and includes an integrated oil scoop to improve crank journal lubrication at higher RPM use. This rod is designed for a 1.188” crank pin and 0.709” wrist pin, and uses 12-point 1/4” head bolts torqued to 170 in-lbs only. The rod is fully serviceable, designed to accept replaceable bearing inserts, and is intended for performance engines requiring reliability, repeatability, and dimensional accuracy. This +0.020” version installs just like the standard 3.308” rod and works with the same engine builds, with the only difference being the increased center-to-center length.
