The Morgan Machine & Tool billet connecting rod is a precision-machined, USA-made upgrade for the Predator 212 engine (Hemi and Non-Hemi). Built with OEM-style geometry, this rod matches all factory dimensions except for a 3.328” center-to-center length (+0.020”), allowing additional flexibility for piston height correction, deck-clearance adjustments, or compression tuning. Each rod is CNC-machined from domestically sourced aluminum billet and includes an integrated oil scoop to improve crank journal lubrication at higher RPM use. This rod is designed for a 1.188” crank pin and 0.709” wrist pin, and uses 12-point 1/4” head bolts torqued to 170 in-lbs only. The rod is fully serviceable, designed to accept replaceable bearing inserts, and is intended for performance engines requiring reliability, repeatability, and dimensional accuracy. This +0.020” version installs just like the standard 3.308” rod and works with the same engine builds, with the only difference being the increased center-to-center length.
