A tough Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) housing provides outstanding impact resistance. IP65 water-resistant rated, this commercial outdoor speaker is fully dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets by a nozzle with a 0.25 inch (6.3 mm) diameter and direct contact with water, like rain, from any direction. The water-resistant enclosure includes a 4.5" low-frequency polypropylene cone driver for a robust low end and a 0.75" high-frequency driver for superb clarity. The Polypropylene (PP) cone woofer makes for an outstanding commercial grade outdoor speaker with low moisture absorption, UV resistance, and low distortion for consistency, stability, strength, and smooth well-damped sound quality regardless of the conditions.
