High resolution semi-fish eye attachment converter for 4K/HD camcorder: Raynox HD 3037 Pro

The HD-3037PRO Semi-Fish Eye Attachment Converter is designed to extend the viewing angle of video camcorder lenses; with this attachment, the lens captures multiple times the size of the subject. The converter can be used when zooming over a focal length range of 1:6 (over the full range of a 6x zoom), whereby the focus is always retained1.

The HD-3037PRO achieves an amazingly high resolution capacity of 520 line pairs per millimetre (in the image centre at a MTF contrast of 30%).

- Focal length factor: for digital camera actually 0.3x (diagonal) or 0.42x (horizontal) / for camcorders actually 0.34x (diagonal) or 0.44x (horizontal).
- Optical design: 2 lenses in 2 groups, tempered lenses made of optical glass.
- Distribution: -45% for digital cameras, -39% for camcorders (each max. wide angle).
- Front thread for filters: not possible due to the extreme viewing angle.
- Screw-on thread: 37 mm.

1 The converter is designed for a zoom range of up to 6x for the selected camcorder. Vignetting and increasing edge blur may occur with a larger zoom range or incompatible camcorders.
