Installation:

1. Check air cleaner to hood clearance, ensures that additional height of heat insulator gasket will not interference other components

2. Remove air cleaner and all attachments to the carburetor(fuel line, throttle linkage and vacuum lines)

3. Remove the carburetor, then remove the old base gasket and any additional plates

4. Remove the stock carburetor studs(short) and install the new studs(long)

5. Install the heat insulator gasket directly against the manifold, replace the carburetor and all other connections
