Instructions for Static Window Cling Film
1. Prepare Tools​
Gather: static window cling film (with transparent backing paper), provided spray bottle, provided scraper, clean lint-free cloth.​
2. Clean the Glass​
Wipe the glass with the cloth to remove dust, dirt, and grease. Use mild glass cleaner for stubborn stains (dry fully afterward).​
3. Remove Backing Paper​
Gently peel off the film's transparent backing paper (avoid tearing the film).
4. Spray Water on Glass​
Fill the spray bottle with clean water. Spray generously on the glass area for the film (keep it damp, not dripping).​
5. Apply & Smooth the Film​
Place the film (no backing paper) on the damp glass, aligning as needed.​
If misaligned, spray more water to reposition.​
Hold the scraper at 45°, scrape from center to edges to remove bubbles and excess water.​
6. Trim Excess (If Needed)​
Use sharp scissors/utility knife to trim overhanging film. Smooth edges with the scraper.​
7. Post-Installation​
Let remaining water dry naturally (1-2 days; do not touch the film).​
To remove later: peel gently (no residue left).​
Do not use on frosted/textured/cracked glass.
