Safety Precautions
1. Regular Inspection
Always inspect the drive belt for signs of wear, cracks, or fraying before and after each ride. A damaged belt can fail unexpectedly, leading to loss of vehicle control. Replace the belt immediately if any abnormalities are found, and avoid operating the vehicle until the issue is resolved.
2. Proper Belt Tension
Ensure the belt tension is correctly adjusted according to the manufacturer's specifications. An overly loose belt can slip or disengage, while excessive tension may cause premature wear or component stress.
3. Avoid Overheating
Prolonged aggressive riding or excessive load can overheat the belt, reducing its lifespan and increasing the risk of failure. Allow the belt to cool down during extended use, and avoid spinning the tires excessively in mud or sand, which generates extra heat.
4. Clean and Debris-Free Environment
Keep the belt and surrounding compartment free from mud, rocks, or debris, as foreign objects can cause slippage or damage. After off-road rides, clean the belt housing area thoroughly to prevent abrasive particles from accelerating wear.
