Principle of Operation:
The detection system consists of an electronic control unit (ECU), a seat belt reminder (SBR) and a seat belt latch, which detects occupancy and non occupancy of the seat and decides whether to switch on the light or an audible warning to remind the occupants to fasten their seat belts.
