Single Flare Flaring Step:
1. Turn the tube cutter handle to adjust the tube cutter to fit the diameter of the brake line
2. Pass the brake line through the corresponding size hole on the flaring rod, align the flaring cone with the brake line, and turn the handle of the flaring cone to flare it
3. Take care to apply even pressure and not to pull the brake tube too high to complete the flare work and get a new single flare

Double Flare Flaring Step:
1. Select the appropriate size adapter, place it in the corresponding position on the flare rod and keep the height of the adapter the same as the length of the brake line through the hole
2. Place the flare cone vertically on the adapter, keep the adapter in place, turn the flare cone handle and tighten to finish flaring
3. Next dismantle the adapter and repeat the single flare work to get a new double flare, taking care to always keep the brake line straight
