The filter may only be used upright on the acrylic cylinder and with the IN / OUT connections on top. A lying position is not possible! Connection options The particle filter is equipped with 2x G1 / 2 "connections (In / Out). The scope of delivery includes additional adapters with which the filter can be easily converted to 2x G1 / 4" connections using a hexagon wrench. Function Due to the large surface area of ​​the sieve filter, the flow rate of the cooling liquid within the particle filter drops considerably and suspended matter can slowly settle on the floor. Lowering the flow rate within the filter does not have any negative effects on the general flow of the water circuit. Maintenance The particle filter has a crystal-clear acrylic cylinder, which is used to collect suspended matter and provides a visual check of the state of contamination. The large volume of the cylinder and the resulting capacity to absorb dirt particles significantly extend the maintenance intervals. When installing the ES inline particle filter, a ball valve can be placed in front of the IN connection and behind the OUT connection. This makes it much easier to remove the particle filter in the event of maintenance (cleaning).
