This model stands out for its powerful motor that maximizes efficiency, especially when combined with amplifiers such as the AP8.9 bit. Its reflex box design with tuned port is optimized to concentrate sound pressure at lower frequencies, taking advantage of the phenomenon known as "cabin gain" present in most vehicles below 60Hz. ​ Subwoofer construction includes an 8-inch water-repellent pressed paper cone, developed using finite element simulations (FEM) and optimized with the Klippel vibrometer. This engineering ensures a 9mm linear excursion, ensuring deep, defined bass. In addition, the robust magnetic assembly has been optimized with FEM for precise control during the wider excursions. ​ The APBX 8 R offers versatility in its installation thanks to its 2S² design (2 Sides / 2 Sounds). This allows you to choose between a Down-Firing configuration for greater extension of low frequencies or Up-Firing for a more direct and defined sound. Includes leveling feet with Velcro inserts, providing a secure grip on the carpet and making it easy to remove when needed. ​ The subwoofer box features rounded corners that facilitate placement in the trunk of the vehicle and act as reinforcements to reduce resonances. In addition, it features a sturdy metal grille that fully protects the subwoofer driver, ensuring durability and resistance to varying conditions within the vehicle. ​
