Description:
This professional digital satellite finder is much more accurate than any other meter in its class. The signal meter does not need to be recalibrated or complicated programming. It allows you to configure or maximize the reception of your satellite signal on the dish yourself without having the help of a friend or having to make multiple trips to your roof.

Satellite finder application method:
1. Connect the finder to the receiver's LNB and antenna.
2. Adjust the knob on the front panel of the star finder so that the pointer on the dial points to the "5" position.
3. Adjust the antenna azimuth and elevation angle, when the star finder pointer reaches the maximum deflection angle, counterclockwise to adjust the knob on the front panel, to make the part of the received signal attenuation, and adjust the antenna azimuth, elevation and polarization angle of LNB, until the star finder pointer no longer increases.
4. The satellite receiver is used to determine whether the signal is the required star signal. If so, remove the finder and reconnect the receiver to the LNB. If the received signal is not the required star signal, repeat the above work.
Common phenomenon:
1. The star finder pointer is at maximum, but no signal.
Because the star finder signal received by the antenna direction are preliminary judgments, the star exists and it is not necessary to display the signal directly on the star finder dial, it is to search for the star signal is a kind of auxiliary equipment.
2. Without adjusting the antenna, the pointer always points to the largest point.
Check if the front of the antenna is blocked against the building or front. If there is no such phenomenon, the LNB gain at this time is too large and should be partially attenuated by the star finder signal.
