If the weight of the purchased cue doesn't feel right at first, or if later on you decide you want a different weight, the McDermott ½” weight bolt system makes it easy to adjust. The installed weight bolt can be removed or replaced with another size to change the overall weight of the cue. For example, a 19 oz cue can be made heavier (up to ~22 oz) by replacing the weight bolt (Weight bolts are sold separately). To reach about 18 oz, simply remove the installed 1 oz weight bolt from the cue butt (if you purchased a 19 oz cue). Use a 1/4" Allen wrench (hex key) for bolt removal/installation (not included).
