The Epiphone Blues King Studio is part of the all-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars have been completely reimagined to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustic instruments inspired by iconic Gibson designs. The Blues King Studio delivers a delightful blend of vintage charm and modern craftsmanship, designed to produce a soulful, resonant sound that's perfect for blues and folk enthusiasts. Based on classic Gibson parlor acoustics, it features a smaller parlor-sized body and shorter 24.75” scale length, making it an excellent first guitar for younger players or a comfortable choice for smaller-statured players. Its bluesy tone is ideal for fingerstyle, blues, folk, Americana, and other traditional genres. The guitar features a layered mahogany L-00-style body with single-ply cream binding on the top and back, and a solid spruce top for responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that improves with age. The mahogany neck is joined with a glued-in tapered dovetail joint and has a Rounded C profile for all-day playing comfort. It's topped with a rosewood fretboard with 19 standard frets and simple pearloid dot inlays. At the bridge, the strings pass over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored to a rectangular rosewood bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins. Vintage-inspired details include a dark tortoiseshell-colored L-00-shaped pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory plastic buttons, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo in gold silkscreen. The Blues King Studio is equipped with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls—easy for the player to use, yet discreet to the audience. It comes in a gloss finish and a standard gig bag is included.
