This is the 44" William Wallace Scottish Claymore Sword. The blade of the sword has been constructed from polished 440 Stainless Steel with a ridge and long Ricassso. The blade comes unsharpened with part of the blade near the guard wrapped with synthetic leather. The guard is a solid cruciform design. The handle is ribbed for grip with a brown synthetic suede cover. The pommel of the sword is the classic Claymore ball design.
Sir William Wallace was a Scottish knight who became one of the main leaders during the First War of Scottish Independence. Along with Andrew Moray, Wallace defeated an English army at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in September 1297
