The UPol 2K HS Production Clear Coat 2:1 is a high gloss coating that aids auto refinishing jobs. This universal, water-clear coating is easy to apply and offers exceptional flow. It dries rapidly and can be buffed and sanded easily. Designed to offer optimum flexibility, this clearcoat can work well for spot, panel, and overall repairs. It can be air-dried or force-dried in down draft, cross flow booths or with infrared drying tools. This durable formula is ultraviolet resistant and can retain gloss - great for use in the ever changing shop conditions. This high-solids formula can be reduced by up to 10%. It works as an excellent clearcoat to reproduce the original manufacturer's finish. Leave the clear coat for a minimum of 6 hours to dry at 72 degrees F or force dry it in 30 minutes at a temperature of 140 degrees F. If you leave U-Pol 2K HS Production Clear Coat 2:1 to dry for 12 hours, sand the clear coat before recoating. Note that the time it takes to dry will depend on the film thickness, temperature, and humidity conditions. Hardeners come with this: SLOW(UP2335), MEDIUM(UP2325) and FAST(UP2030).
