FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT AND CLEANING.
The use of clean fuel prevents fuel system failures.
Always refillthe gasoline tank at the end of the day's operation.
This removesthe moisture laden air from the tank, and thereby reduces the con-densation of water.
a. Removal. Disconnect the fuel line, and drain the gasoline withthe shut-off valve opened to the reserve position.
Remove the hood . Remove the tank from the hood assembly.
b. Cleaning. It is advisable to remove the fuel shut-off valve,by unscrewing the assembly, when cleaning the gasoline tank.
Cleanthe sediment bowl, screws,and valve passages as required.
Cleanthe fuel line to remove any foreign material.
e. Installation. Screw the fuel shut-off valve into position in thegasoline tank.
Mount the tank in the hood assembly.
Install the hood.
