Our story
In 2013, we started MVMT to disrupt the overpriced and outdated models of the fashion industry. Empowered by the people through crowdfunding, our original watch line set us apart by bringing you quality, minimalist designs at radically fair prices. Through social media we grew far beyond our Los Angeles home, becoming a global community of 1.5 million MVMT owners (and counting).
We're inspired by the go-getters, the innovators, the dreamers; and our designs embody this very spirit. They're built for adventuring, creating and daring to disrupt the norm.

What type of movement is used?
We didn't look past one feature when designing MVMT. With this said, we went with a Japanese Miyota Precision Quartz Movement which is one of the most well known in the industry.
Are MVMT watches waterproof?
"Classic, 40 series, Signature, Boulevard, and Avenue watches have a water resistance of 3 ATM. Please avoid all contact with water, as water damage is not covered under warranty. The Chrono and Nova watches have a water resistance of 5 ATM and can withstand a brief submersion under water (i.e. hand washing), but should not be taken swimming or bathing. Voyager and Modern Sport watches have a 10ATM rating and can be taken swimming at the surface or snorkeling at a shallow depth, but cannot be taken SCUBA diving.
What type of leather is used?
"Our leather straps are made of genuine cow-hide leather."
What is the glass made of?
"The glass we use for our watches is made of hardened mineral crystal."
