INSTALLATION STEPS:
1.The first one. Make sure the vehicle is parked on level ground and chock the wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
2.Locate the tie rod end that needs to be replaced and remove the cotter pin and nut securing it to the knuckle or steering rack.
3.Using tie rod end removal tool, separate old tie rod end from steering knuckle or steering rack.
4.Thread the new tie rod end onto the knuckle or steering rack, making sure the nuts are tight.
5.Insert the new cotter pin and bend it to hold the nut in place.
6.Use the four-wheel alignment tool to adjust the toe-in or toe-in of the front wheel as required.
7.Test drive the vehicle to make sure the steering is functioning properly and the wheels are properly aligned correctly.
