BRP is introducing a new special tool for all vehicles equipped with a 10.25" Touchscreen Display. The tool is designed to keep the cluster awake while performing an over-the-air system update or map download. It plugs into the diagnostic connector used for BUDS2 on the vehicle. Once the tool is plugged in, the screen will ight up and remain awake until the plug is removed. Always use the service tool with a battery maintainer/trickle charger. Always make sure to unplug this tool after the update is complete so as not to drain the battery.
