Remark: Engine 1990-2000 oil pumps have a hole in them for the dipstick on FWD applications. There is a blind plug pressed into this hole on Miata RWD applications. If you don't install the blind plug on a new pump, you will have a non-pressurized oil leak at the front of the engine. The additional PLUG BLIND with Part # 9930-71-000 will be required to purchase separately. It is NOT included with this oil pump.
