Installation Steps
1. Remove the faceplate and old hood latch handle
2. Using a saw blade or pipe cutter, cut off approximately 1 foot of the existing plastic shaft (be careful not to cut the internal metal cable)
3. Use a sharp vise to stretch the cable as far as possible
4. Slide the new hood release latch onto the end of the cable
5. Use the hex wrench included in the package to tighten the 2 screws
WARNING: You don't need to replace the whole cable, this car part is only suitable for replacing the hood release handle at the end of the cable
