How to replace fuel pump gasket and strainer?
1. Switch off the power and disconnect the fuel supply
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the fuel pump housing
3. Remove the old strainer and gasket
4. Clean the contact surfaces of the fuel pump
5. Fit the new gasket and strainer
6. Reassemble the fuel pump

How often should the strainer and gasket be changed?
It is normally recommended to replace the gasket and strainer once a year.
If leaks, clogged filters or reduced performance are noticed, they should be replaced immediately.
