  • 【Repair Instructions】To replace the damaged gimbal flex cable, turn off your drone and use the PH1.5 screwdriver and spudger to open the top and bottom shells, then remove the heat sink and unscrew the IMU module. You will see the 3 cable connectors to the main board, gimbal yaw motor and IMU module, then disconnect all of them carefully with the tweezer. Finally remove the cable from the middle frame slowly and then install our new ribbon cable by sequence. Gimbal repair is a very delicate job, so make sure you can do it yourself before replacement.
  • 【Additional Remind】Although the gimbal flat cable replacement sounds like a quite easy job, it is also highly suggested that watch some online tutorials or videos, especially for DIY beginners, before the repair. You will find a lot of videos online and after that you will be more knowledgeable and confident in reparing your drone.

Instructions for 3-in-1 gimbal flat cable replacement:

1, identify the problem and confirmed that it is from 3-in-1 gimbal cable.
2, watch some tutorials online firstly.
3, order our parts and tools and start DIY repair.
4, turn off the drone and remove upper and bottom shells with our PH1.5 screwdriver and spudger.
5, remove the heat sink and IMU module.
6, disconnect the 3 connectors to IMU, core board and gimbal yaw motor.
7, remove the compass module and rest cables stuck on the middle frame.
8, install and connect our new 3-in-1 flex cable step by step.
