The IMAM Ro.44 was a fighter seaplane developed in Italy, a single seater derivative of the Ro.43 that first flew in October 1936. Kit features engraved panel lines, restrained fabric-over-frame effects, well appointed cockpit, machine guns, engine detail, 2-piece cowling, 1-piece 3-blade propeller, injection-molded windscreen, extensive resin and photoetch parts, float undercarriage with beaching gear. Decals and color markings for (2) aircraft: MM3704, 161-2, 161a Squadriglia, Autonoma Caccia Marittima Rhodos 1941 and MM3693, 166-2, 166a Squadriglia, 88 Gruppo Autonoma Caccia Marittima, Vigna di Valle, Lago di Bracciano 1939.
