The large hopper feeder is made using hand selected Western Red Cedar know for its beauty while resisting rot and insects. This feeder features a bottom that is made out of aluminum that has many holes in it to provide excellent drainage and is removable for cleaning. The plexiglas windows hold in the seed and is great for viewing seed level and easily slides out for cleaning. The feeder is assembled with wood screws in my shop and is strong enough to hold up to many seasons of use. The included hanger is a vinyl coated wire cable that will keep pesky squirrels from chewing through it causing the feeder to fall to the ground. The roof is made extra wide to extend past the feed tray so rain water will fall away from the feed area.
