Outcry
Outcry combines elements of classical Myst-like adventure games, along with author's approach to visual and audio environment. The interactive soundtrack has been designed for the game by Anthesteria project. The main character receives an invitation letter from his brother - whom he hasn't seen for years, and decides to visit him. However upon arrival, the writer receives news about sudden isappearance of his brother and as he finds out, the scientist has been secretly working on a mysterious machine, which could separate one's consciousness from his physical appearance.
A detective, mystery, philosophical storyline, that covers the topics of human psychology, subconscious thought and inner conflicts. A greater part of exploring Sublustrum takes place on the border between reality and sleep, a world, that exists with its own laws of time and space
Original approach to visual design, use of post-filtering such as old film, noise, desert air effect combined with dynamic post-effect using 2.0 shader technology
Photorealistic in-game environment done in fine detail, combining the setting of the Victorian style, modern, steam-punk, industrial esthetics and retrofuturism, guarantees deep immersion into the game's world.
Original soundtrack, combining dark-ambient and neoclassic, recorded by the Anthesteria project is one of the main means of submerging into the world of Sublustrum, as well as the carefully picked sound environment of every location.
A system of non-trivial 'puzzles', demanding non-standard solutions. The tasks make the player enable various aspects of perception (associations, sounds, time and space).
