Can this furnace melt gold and silver?
Yes. The furnace reaches up to 2642°F (1450°C), and the included graphite crucible withstands 3272°F (1800°C). Gold melts at 1948°F, silver at 1763°F, and copper at 1984°F – all well within range. You can also melt brass, aluminum. But please do not melt iron/steel.

How much metal can I get in one batch?
The 25KG crucible holds up to 25kg of copper, 46.8kg of gold, 7.5kg of aluminum, or 29.5kg of silver. This means fewer melts and more time casting.

Is this suitable for a beginner?
Yes. Many home hobbyists, jewelers, and small foundry operators use this kit. The dual side burners provide even heat, and the 2-inch ceramic fiber insulation makes it efficient. Follow the flame adjustment steps in the manual to get a clean blue flame.

Do I need anything else to get started?
You need a standard propane tank (US QCC type), safety goggles and face shied. Additionally, prepare ingot molds to shape your melted metal.
