Designed for placement near outdoor wooden structures where carpenter bee activity is observed, it can be used around decks, eaves, siding, porches, fences, sheds, garages and barns. The clear external receptacle lets you view captured bees and check capacity from multiple angles without opening the unit. Its aerated construction supports airflow through the chamber, while the integrated bait cup allows optional carpenter bee bait to be added when desired. Carpenter bee bait is sold separately. For routine maintenance, a spring-loaded release door connects to the included 9 ft pull cord and hook, helping you empty the receptacle from a hanging position with less direct contact.
