CRB7 Router Edge Guide Side Fence – Precision Grooving and Edge Routing with the CRB7

The MPOWER CRB7 Edge Guide Side Fence adds an additional routing function to the CRB7 Combination Router Base. It provides a stable and precise edge guide for routing grooves, dados, channels and edge moulding parallel to the board edge.

Traditional router edge guides can be bulky and limited in range. The CRB7 Edge Guide offers a far simpler and more flexible solution. It allows grooves and trenches to be routed up to 7.5 inches from the edge of the board while maintaining excellent routing control.

Improved Control for In Board Grooving

When routing grooves inside a panel, standard edge guides often lack reach and stability. The CRB7 Edge Guide increases the working range and keeps the router aligned with the board edge. This makes it ideal for routing dados and channels consistently across multiple boards.

Micro Adjust Edge Routing

Combined with the CRB7 micro adjust system, the edge guide allows extremely precise positioning of the router cutter. This allows the distance between cutter and board edge to be adjusted accurately for repeatable joinery and clean grooves.

Edge Moulding Support

Two threaded inserts allow a sacrificial facepiece to be mounted to the fence. This supports the cutter during edge moulding and allows the cutter to back cut safely into the facepiece. The result is smoother cuts with reduced burn marks and greater routing control.
