Each panel is 38 inches wide by 1 linear yard of genuine E-glass fiber in a balanced 0/90 degree woven roving construction – the quilt-like pattern that delivers equal tensile strength in both directions and builds laminate thickness 4-5x faster than 6 oz cloth. Designed for polyester and vinyl ester resin systems used in marine construction and industrial composite work. Standard laminate practice is to alternate woven roving with our 1.5 oz chopped strand mat – the CSM wets out into the open weave and bonds adjacent roving layers into a single, dense, void-free composite. Use it for boat transom rebuilds, hull and deck laminate schedules, stringer and bulkhead reinforcement, structural mold construction, and any high-strength fiberglass project where thickness and stiffness matter.
