Size & Load Capacity Details: This tie-down chain is built from chain links and versatile hooks. The overall length of the chain is 20' with hooks compatible with 5/16" chains. It is ideal for securing construction materials, machinery, or oversized loads with a working load limit (WLL) of 4,700 lbs. Dual Hook Design: As mentioned above, this binder chain features two end fittings dubbed the grab hook and the Slip hook. The grab hook has a narrow throat opening that easily connects to the chain and flatbed trailer's rub rail, reducing the risk of disconnection and slippage. Whereas the Slip hook with safety latch can easily connect to d-rings, lifting eyes/eye bolts, shackles, tow points/recovery points, thanks to its broad throat opening. The design enhances load security and connection during use.

How to Secure Goods with Tie-Down Chains
Position your cargo to secure it.
Attach one end of the chain to an anchor point (D-ring, O-Ring, or Rub rails) of the trailer.
Secure the load with the chain.
Attach the other end of the grab hook to the second anchor point (it can be on the trailer or on the cargo, too).
Connect the chain binder to the chain - one to the chain and the other to the trailer anchor point.
Move the binder's handle in a back-and-forth movement to tighten the chain.
Ensure the binder chains are taut and the chain binder's handle lock is closed.
Secure the excess chain by wrapping it around the binder.
