Instructions for Use
1. Loosen and remove the string to be maintained, and gently pull the tuning pin out of the peg hole in the headstock.
2. Apply the violin peg paste evenly to the friction area where the tuning pin contacts the peg hole.
3. Insert the tuned tuning pin back into the peg hole.
4. Rotate the tuning pin back and forth approximately 20 times to distribute the paste evenly on the contact surface, until the rotation feels smooth with a certain amount of resistance.
5. Wipe away any excess or spilled paste with a soft cloth, reattach the strings, and tune the instrument.
Precautions
1. Use very little tuning peg paste; less is more.
2. Apply only to the areas where the tuning pegs actually contact the peg holes; do not apply to the entire peg.
3. Before use, clean the tuning pegs and peg holes with a soft cloth to remove old wax for better results.
