Filtering films are optical films used to change the nature or color of of specific wavelengths to pass through while blockinghs, and only allowinghin the film travels from one medium to another, reflection and refraction occur at the interface. This is achieved by coating a film of a specific thickness and refractive index on the surface of optical components
This series of infrared filter films feature high transmittance (90%) for blackransmittance (less than 10%) for most visible light (400-680nm), and transmittance (approximately 40%) in the transition region (680-800nm)
