This bundle includes 3 items: (1) Hypro 3350-0034P Nylon Line Strainer with (1) 1700-0044 Buna O-Ring and (1) 3800-0029 Stainless Steel 20 Mesh Screen.
These Hypro 3350 Series Nylon Line Strainers are designed to filter out any debris that may be drawn into your pump. They are used for suction and higher pressure applications, with the ability to achieve up to 150 psi at 70° Fahrenheit and 100 psi at 125° Fahrenheit. The cap on the Hypro 3350-0034P Line Strainer / Suction Filter is made with white type 6 nylon material, while the bowl is made with clear polyamide material for visual inspection without disassembling.
Install the Hypro 3350-0034P Line Strainer on the inlet side of the pump. If using a centrifugal pump, you can install on either the inlet or discharge side, but the strainer's flow capacity, pressure rating, and other installation factors must be considered. NOTE: Clear polyamide bowls should NOT be used for handling alcohol.
Clean the strainer without removing it from the line by unscrewing the bowl from the cap, removing the screen, and flushing out any sediment. Reassemble the strainer by fitting the screen to the flange in the bowl and turn hand tight. NOTE: Do NOT use for fatigue-loading applications, such as water-softeners.
