The T-H Marine 13 inch Door and Lid Restraint Strap is a simple, durable way to control hatch and door swing on boats and outdoor equipment. Designed to act as a stop or restraint, it limits travel on hatch covers, lids, doors, motor covers, and hinged seats to help prevent over-extension and reduce strain on hinges and mounting points. The strap is built from stainless steel cable covered with black PVC and uses stainless steel eye fittings on each end that accept a #10 screw for mounting. Rated to support up to 250 lbs, it is suited for real marine use where vibration and repeated opening cycles are normal. Note: 304 stainless steel and aluminum can potentially have a corrosive effect on each other. If installing directly to aluminum, T-H Marine recommends using a galvanized screw with a rubber washer to prevent direct metal-to-metal contact.
