Instruction
-Installation
Check that the wheel's bore matches the motor shaft, seat it centrally, and lock it firmly with a wrench.
Run a pre-use safety inspection: verify the wheel is tight, all fasteners are secure, and the area is clear of debris. Begin only when everything checks out.
If the wheel vibrates or hops while spinning, it's likely unbalanced, out-of-round, or improperly mounted. Diagnose and correct the problem before continuing.
-Coarse
Use hardest blue polishing wheel to eliminate rust and surface imperfections on coarse or uneven metal items.
-Medium
Use orange wheel to smooth and prepare untreated metal surfaces.
-Fine
Use a moderately abrasive yellow wheel to erase marks left from earlier rough polishing.
-Fine to Super
Use a soft white wheel to polish the surface to a high-gloss, mirror-like shine.
Polishing Technique
Keep the workpiece parallel to the wheel, grip it firmly with both hands, and move it steadily from top to bottom in line with the rotation. Poor technique can cause the piece to be thrown out by the spinning wheel; avoid bouncing motions and uneven pressure.
Lightly dab polishing compound onto the running wheel. Maintain gentle contact between the part and the wheel, and renew the compound every 10–15 minutes of steady work.
