The Mini Tenor Pan is a mid-sized, playable tuned steelpan designed as an intermediary step up to the full-sized conventional Tenor Pan. This package is ideal for music education for adults and students. THIS AUTHENTIC QUALITY STEELPAN WAS HANDCRAFTED IN LAVENTILLE, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO, THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE STEELPAN. The product is powder coated in a sleek, high-performance finish for maximum durability whilst preserving tonal quality. The playing surface is 15 inches in diameter and consists of 17 Notes Chromatic – C5 to E6, which allows playing of many popular melodies, some of which are provided in the included booklet which introduces the steelpan and its use. The size of the skirt is 4 inches. The guidebook "Melodies for the Mini C Pan" is an excellent introduction to the steelpan and contains a brief history and instructions on how to set up and play the steelpan. Included is a list of 21 melodies of varying levels of difficulty which are each performed on the Mini C Pan for further ease of learning. These melodies are accessible by a YouTube link where you can watch, listen and play along to each song.
