The 2-port HDMI splitter with Audio inserter can work as a 1X2 HDMI Splitter when you set the audio in to HD-IN.
And it can also allow you to insert stereo audio signals either via the Toslink or analog 3.5mm input to the HDMI out.
The HDMI audio embedder is compliant with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.It supports in and out resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.

Important Note:
1) This device is an HDMI Audio embedder instead of an audio extractor. It does not support audio out over the aux or Toslink port.
2) The 3.5mm Aux and optical Toslink ports are only for audio input instead of output.
3) This is an entry-level HDMI audio embedder; there might be some sync delay with video. Please allow some tolerance.
4) Does not support HDMI CEC. If you are looking for a splitter with CEC, it does not fit your needs. That means the HDMI out carries only PCM audio when you connect multi-channel digital audio to the optical in.
5) The HDMI Splitter resolution outputs are subject to the lower of the 2 connected displays. For example, when you connect a PS5 to a 1080P HDTV and a 4K 60Hz HDTV via this HDMI splitter with audio embedder, the output resolution is only 1080P on both HDTVS.
6) Please use HDMI A-T-C Certi-fied Premium high-speed or ultra high-speed HDMI cable only. Most sync issues are caused by poor video cables.
